Fundi's our prayers have been answered.
The Italian designed pants have taken the South African market by storm and for good reason!
Just like the sisterhood of the traveling pants, Freddy Jeans have created the ultimate pants that fit each and every girl no matter your body type!
Forget about squats and lunges, Freddy Jeans WR.UP® technology lift, shape and tone your bum and legs perfectly. Strategically tailored silicon inside the pants help shape your body in the most natural way, leaving you feeling super confident.
I have not gone back to wearing "normal" jeans since I started wearing my Freddy's last year. Not only are Freddy Jeans the perfect everyday pants, they also give me such a sense of confidence. I know this may sound silly, but only once you have tried on a pair of Freddy's will you understand what I am talking about.
Freddy began as a brand mainly targeting gymnasts and dancers, however the brand has branched out to only include gym wear but also design the perfect everyday jeans. What I love most about their everyday pants is that you can turn a casual day time look into something fabulous in the evening while still wearing the same Freddy Jeans.
One of my favourite collections from Freddy Jeans is their WR.UP® D.I.W.O.® range.
D.I.W.O.® Pro uses a Rhodia Polyamide 6.6 (Emana®) fibre that improves the appearance of skin, increasing elasticity and reducing any imperfections. YES it's true, Freddy Jeans have designed a pair of pants that reduce the appearance of cellulite! I literally can not get enough of my WR.UP® D.I.W.O.® Pro Skinny pants. These pants are not in a jean material so they are prefect pants for an elegant night out.
You cannot go wrong with a pair (or two) of Freddy Jeans! They really are my secret recipe to looking and feeling great!

Can you believe we're in 2018 already? Where does the time go? As the year begins, it calls for a new year of resolutions.I know we're already in the second week of January, however, it is never too late to set out your goals for the new year!Setting goals is tough! Speaking for myself, I have set various goals every year but battled to stick to them. Some I have accomplished, yet there are others which I did not manage to achieve, due to a lack of trying on my part.I feel that 2018 is going to be my strongest year yet. I accomplished a lot in 2017 and I am extremely proud of myself for everything that I had achieved. In 2018 I want to grow and develop on these goals as well as accomplish the new goals I have set for this year.

Fashion Fundi has really grown a lot since I started blogging in 2014. When I started in 2014, I was blogging purely as a hobby. Little did I know that 3 years later in 2017 I would have turned my hobby into a full time job! I studied Psychology and Law and practiced as a lawyer for sometime, which helped me learn how to manage a business and become an entrepreneur. Despite being a practicing lawyer, I always loved writing, traveling and fashion and through my blog I was able to incorporate all of these things and turn my passion into a lucrative business.
My business goals for 2018 are to most certainly ascertain who I want to work with more strategically. Of course, I am grateful for all the brands that contact me and want to work with me, however, not every brand that approaches me fits in with my brand, aesthetic or theme. In the past, I used to accept almost all offers that came my way, however, it did not always benefit my brand and business. Therefore in an attempt to succeed in my business, I need to more "picky" with who I am going to collaborate with. Another business goal for 2018 is to set weekly goals for myself. It is not always that easy being your own boss as being self-disciplined is tough. By setting weekly goals and targets for myself, I know that I will be able to achieve more as well as become a more productive content creator and influencer to my readers. A lot of effort goes into making a business a success and I am extremely grateful for the team that stands behind me and we can only grow from the past.

2018 is the year of adventure!
Although I have been able to travel since a very young age, there are still so many places on this earth that I want to explore! Before I started blogging, I always wanted to write about my experiences abroad and share hidden gems I discovered around the world with like minded people but I just didn't know how to go about it. When I started Fashion Fundi, I only focused on fashion and beauty, neglecting one of my favourite things to do, which is to share my travel adventures with people. Last year, I began to share my travel experiences with my readers, however, I did not document every experience and adventure on social media. This year, I really want my readers to join me (even though it is virtually) on my Instagram page and my blog when I travel, whether it is local or international.
This year I will be traveling to Europe, America and Asia, however, I am most excited to be traveling to Thailand in April. I have never been to Asia and I am so excited to be visiting a part of the world that is so rich with cultures and traditions that are so different to the western culture. Not only is Thailand such a beautiful country, it is rich with culture and heritage that I am yearning to learn more about.

Speaking of learning, I never want to stop educating myself. Although I studied for 5 years at university, I have always enjoyed learning new things, reading up about topics that interest me and educating myself about things I wanted to know more about. In a world of digital marketing, it is imperative that I keep myself up to date on how to better my business. I learnt many things about my business and social media in 2017, however, I did not want to stop there. There is always room for improvement and always something new to learn.
Another important thing I have set as a new years resolution, is to learn how to switch off from my phone at least an hour before bed and more importantly when spending time with family and friends. Social media has to some extent negatively influenced us in that is has led us to seclude our selves and become "anti" social from reality. My goal is to make a effort this year to really take time away from my phone and computer.
With learning comes fun things too. This year my friends and I have decided to start a monthly book club, which I think is a great idea not only to start reading again but also to have a fun social event once a month with good friends and some good wine of course! I remember reading a lot while studying law, however, I never had the time to read books on a recreational level. Along with work and constantly being on my phone or computer, due to social media, I completely stopped reading as a whole, so I think starting this book club is going to be such fun!

Staying healthy is by far one of my most difficult challenges. If any of you know me, you know that I love wining and dining and am a real big foodie. I love tasting different types of food and sometimes indulging a little more than I should. I have recently started reading a recipe book from Leafy Greens Cafe and I absolutely love what amazingly healthy and tasty food I can make that doesn't take time and isn't complicated to make either! Another part of my healthier lifestyle resolution for 2018 has to be working out more often. I used to train about 2-3 days a week, which of course isn't enough if you are a foodie like me. So in an attempt to be more healthy this year, I have set myself a goal to train at least 4 days a week at the gym, whether it be Pilates, Yoga or boot camp and then one day on the weekend to enjoy an outdoor activity, like hiking or Park Run

I would love to hear about your New Year's resolutions and what goals you have set yourself. So please feel free to share them in the comments below, on my Instagram page or even my Facebook page!
