If you looking for a perfect summer getaway then Knysna and Plett are the places to be at.
Situated along the famous Garden Route, these two scenic towns are perfect for relaxing, sipping on cocktails and watching the most beautiful sunsets on the beach.
From Spanish tapas to fresh fish on the lagoon, Knysna has a great variety of restaurants.
My favourite restaurant in Knysna is the great Tapas & Oyster Bar at Thesen Island. With a wide variety on their menu you can pretty much get anything from Blue Cheese & Tomatoes Jam Bruschetta to Hake Goujons. (of course Tapas style)
Another great restaurant round the corner from Thesen Island on the beautiful lagoon at the famous Knsyna Quays, is the Dry Dock. For a more fine dining experience this seafood restaurant will not disappoint.
If you a foodie then I suggest you give these restaurants a try.
A typical beach town, Plett, about 30 minutes from Knsyna, is also a fab place to vacation at. If you looking for a great place to unwind, put your feet in the sand and make bonfires on the beach, then I suggest spending some time in this pretty town.
From beach bars to fun in the sun this town has plenty to do.
